Electronic devise aren’t going to go away. Psychologist believe the best way to balance out the over usage of mobile devises is to spend time outdoors doing group activities. Because of nature’s unnatural pattern, children’s brains are more stimulated. This form of stimulation promotes development in children’s critical thinking skills. Teachers noticed by taking their students out of the class room and exploring their natural surroundings, all the students took part. The student that misbehaved a lot was getting a long with the other students. The shy student took part in the discuss when asked to share their favorite part of being outside. These examples illustrate how nature helps develop social and emotional skills in children.

Potential Danger
Technology is becoming more and more accentual to our daily routine. Children on average spend to eight to fourteen hours per day on technology. What most parents observe from their children when using these devises for a long period of time are headaches, strained eyes and disruption of sleep. These are only the beginning of symptoms caused from over using technology. The devises that are used on a regular bases produce small amounts of radiation. When researchers studied children to see if this small amount of radiation was any harm to children, they discovered a decrease in mental health, increase of stress and anxiety, addictive behavior, and ASCs and ADHD. All from children who use electronic devises from 12 plus hours a day.
Face-to-face
There’s one thing we know for sure when it comes to technology’s influence, it is slowing down the process of children developing their social and emotional skills. Children develop these skills from interacting and observing their parents, along with interacting with other children. Mobile devises captivates everyone’s attention. This lowers the amount of time parents interact with their children. Because children’s social and emotional skills aren’t properly develop yet, they have no self regulation and will continue playing or watching on their devises until told other wise.
Parental Role
One of the most common remarks heard from adults is the lack of time children now a days spend outside. This is a true observation adults are making when they compare their childhood to children they see in our society. There are a few reasons why children play less outside. One reason why this occurrence is happening because parents aren’t showing their children the endless possibilities of playing outside. A second reason is some parents don’t have time restrictions on mobile devises. The third reason is because some parents are concern about their child’s safety. Within the pass three decades, our way of life has changed.

At first glance, looking into the influence these devices have, most of the arguments discuss the negative effects of these devices. They promote violence, addiction, bullying and misbehavior in children. In some causes, this is true, but it is not true for the mass majority of children. The underlining root to these development is children is cause our culture doesn’t have a standard regulation on these devices. In order to build a general consensus on the matter, we first need to educate ourselves on the possible health concerns that are presented in the over usage of electronic devices.
