Technology is a broad term and can be used to describe different forms of technology: hammer, gun, equipment, hardware, etc. In this case, the technology being discussed are smartphones, laptops and TV. At first glance, looking into the influence these devices have, most of the arguments discuss the negative effects of these devices. They promote violence, addiction, bullying and misbehavior in children. In some causes, this is true, but it is not true for the mass majority of children. The underlining root to these development is children is cause our culture doesn’t have a standard regulation on these devices. In order to build a general consensus on the matter, we first need to educate ourselves on the possible health concerns that are presented in the over usage of electronic devices. The first concern is it’s taking longer for children to develop social and emotional skills. These skills are important because it provides an insight on how well that child will function in society.
